About the Job:

Taco Bell has jumpstarted its evolution to elevate the culture by embedding Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (EI&B) into how teams lead and do business. With the hiring of the first-ever Chief Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Officer for the brand, Taco Bell has taken the first step to help drive cultural and systemic change in the workplace, marketplace, and communities across the world. The building of this new function with a phenomenal EI&B practitioner and business partner is the next step!

The Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (EI&B) Business Partner will report directly to the Chief EI&B Officer. This role will be responsible for advancing the EI&B strategy throughout the enterprise, working closely with senior leadership teams, client groups across our restaurant support center, international operations, equity restaurants, and franchisee partners. The EI&B Business Partner will play an essential role in helping the organization achieve its EI&B business goals, while championing what it means to inspire inclusivity everyday with our actions.

The Day-to-Day:

  • In partnership with assigned client groups and HR partners, develop and execute EI&B operational plans to achieve functional EI&B aspirational goals (i.e., in the areas of talent acquisition, inclusive brand strategy, cultural intelligence, diverse vendors/suppliers, etc.).
  • Provide client-focused EI&B recommendations and solutions to senior leadership teams, while measuring and communicating areas of improvement, progress, and sustainment plans.
  • Proactively explore EI&B service offerings with external partners and vendors that will deliver the best ROI. Serve as primary, daily point-of-contact with EI&B external partners and vendors.
  • Serve as the first point-of-contact and manager of the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including guidance on yearly plans and budget, anchoring activations, quarterly leadership connections, and identified business impact initiatives.
  • Partner with the Communication and Engagement function on all EI&B-specific communication and engagement plans (internal and external).
  • Lead EI&B benchmarking, data analysis, and data modeling to proactively address and measure both systemic and cultural trends in defined areas.
  • Collaborate with EI&B leads at YUM! and its brands to share practices and support comprehensive efforts across the system.

Is This You?

  • Ten to twelve years as an Equity, Inclusion and Belonging practitioner and/or functional Business Partner (i.e., Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Operations, etc.) with global client groups.
  • Depth in strategy execution across various client groups (including global teams, exempt, and non-exempt employee populations).
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proven capability to translate metrics, research, and market trends into action plans.
  • Practice in both program and project management at individual client group levels and enterprise-wide level.
  • Successful track record of designing EI&B training and learning solutions, creating implementation plans, and facilitating sessions with global teams, exempt, and non-exempt employee populations.
  • Minimum three years managing vendor relationships and contract negotiation.
  • Certificate and/or certification in Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, subject to reasonable accommodations. Proof of vaccination required.
