About the Job:

Taco Bell is known for being at the forefront of menu innovation in the restaurant industry and even the business world. A big key to our success is built on strong fundamentals and bringing that innovation to life with great execution inside our restaurants. As a Specialist on the Menu Operations Team, you will be responsible for design validation and operational testing of new menu initiatives; LTOs, events, digital offers, etc. – ensuring all align with brand strategy and are ready for launch across the system. This role will partner heavily with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Food Innovation, and Training from ideation to rollout, focusing on operational excellence and ease.

The ideal candidate for this role will be one that exhibits strong strategic thinking, proven project management skills, flexible communication styles, and a passion for collaboration to bring our biggest menu initiatives to life.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Create, manage, and deliver against project timelines on calendar and digital offer initiatives.
  • Analyze complex ideas quickly and accurately to determine feasibility for execution.
  • Ensure new menu items and ingredient procedures are designed to Taco Bell Standards, enabling great Team Member and Customer experiences.
  • Partner with the Training and Integration teams to produce training materials and engagement plans for all testing and national launches.
  • Regular cadence of communication with field leaders and restaurants to get feedback and identify process improvements from start to finish for all tests.
  • Solicit and present program feedback throughout testing and use findings to make necessary adjustments for optimal national execution.

Is This You?

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to reasonable accommodations. Proof of vaccination required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Operations and/or strategic program implementation-specific role
  • Restaurant Operations knowledge/experience, Franchise/Field Operations experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, proactive solution-oriented and adapts easily to change
  • Able to flex different communication styles for all audiences, strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Open to domestic travel 10-20% of the time
  • Experience with PowerPoint & Excel
  • Ideal candidate will be based in or relocate to Irvine, CA
