About the Job:

As Senior Applications Engineer, Microsoft Dynamics, you will work on and shape sustainable technical solutions and implementation strategies for Taco Bell’s Franchise Development Systems including Franchise Information & Relationship Manager (FIRM), a cloud-hosted CRM built on Dynamics 365 that is used across various business functions as well as by external Franchise partners. If you are a self-starter and jump on new ideas to make the platform more stable, secure, and feature-rich, this is your opportunity.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Identify and propose sustainable technical solutions and implementation strategies for FIRM, a cloud-hosted CRM built on Dynamics 365 that is used across various business functions as well as by external Franchise partners through Dynamics 365 Portal
  • Research, identify, test, validate and select Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform techonologies and architect solutions for business needs
  • Support and update FIRM’s existing Dynamics customizations with other Microsoft products including SharePoint, Power Apps, & Power BI as well as 3rd party tools
  • Attend meetings representing the FIRM Development team as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Guide, oversee the work of, and mentor junior-level team members
  • Create documentation for technical solutions
  • Resolve and verify configuration and other non-software related issues
  • Remediate 3rd level above-restaurant issues

Is This You?

  • 8 years experience in development and support of business applications and services using the Microsoft stack
  • 4-6 years of Microsoft Dynamics and/or Dynamics 365 development, customization, and administration
  • 2-4 years of database development
  • 2-4 years of JavaScript development
  • 2-4 years of .NET programming experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM including coding plugins, designing custom entities, creating JS modules, and Dynamics Portal customization and development
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Strong working knowledge in Azure, Azure Functions and cloud-based application integration and customization
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with middleware such as Talend is highly desired
  • Experience with Agile with Scrum software development methodologies are highly desired
  • Excellent general knowledge of computer and networking technologies
  • Good understanding of web and cloud application principles and best practices
  • Demonstrated strong communications skills (internal and external to the group)
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills leading small technical teams
