What We Need

Our dynamic eCommerce Admin and Platform teams are rapidly growing as we optimize our digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe. We are seeking aQA Leadwho will be responsible who can provide thought and people leadership to two QA teams. In this role, you will use problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to help the Product QA teams operate effectively and efficiently. We are searching for a QA Lead who can be on top of functional testing, manage process and delivery timelines, provide input into strategic decisions, and can guide technical activities to ensure customer needs are met.

You Will

  1. Report to a QA manager to lead a team of software engineers in test to ensure the highest quality product delivery for our platform teams.
  2. Define, rollout, and enforce best practice processes in the areas of functional, system and regression testing using a combination of manual and automated testing
    • Manual testing: maximizing the utilization of test case management tools for test documentation, result reporting, and defect triage.
    1. Automated testing: help improve the existing automation test coverage for each team and ensure automation backlog is actively maintained
  1. Develop test strategies, test plans, and test schedules for new projects and software releases
  2. Oversee and report on the development, execution, and results of test plans
  3. Work closely with Developers, TPMs; Participate in project planning and estimates
  4. Recruit, interview and hire new QA engineers, provide mentorship and coaching on a day-to-day basis.

You Have

  • A bachelor’s in CS, CIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong Computer Science fundamental knowledge including data structure and algorithms, system design.
  • Strong experience testing Restful APIs through automation
  • Experience with testing GraphQL queries and mutations is a plus
  • Overall 3+ years of experience as a test lead with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Overall 7+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing. Know the ins-and-outs of test automation.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong communication an interpersonal skills
