Senior Associate Brand Manager, Merchandising & Packaging

LOCATIONS: Plano

What You’ll Be Serving Up:

Lead strategy and development for merchandising, menuboard, & packaging design across National and Test Markets. Manage design agencies, lead photography strategy for the brand.  

Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:

MENUBOARDS & POP & DIGITAL:

  • Leads all Merchandising and Menuboard initiatives from creative concept to execution for national and test markets. 
  • Partners with agencies and cross-functional teams to lead in-restaurant branded retail strategy and ensure creative meets KFC brand standards.
  • Manages all food photography for POP, menuboards, APP & .com, CRM, PR, and select social. 
  • Leads Menuboard cross functional team to deliver flawless menuboard execution across KFC, multibrand, and non-traditional restaurants.
  • Manages digital menuboard program with Data Management and Digital Menuboard Vendor, including LTOs for each promotion
  • Manages DAM and Canto platforms to ensure internal partners and agency partners have access to all artwork and creative assets.
  • Supports Local Store Marketing initiatives to ensure brand standards are met. Reviews all creative from LSM agencies, including POP, OOH advertising, and social campaigns.

PACKAGING

  • Leads creative development and design for LTO and base business packaging for national and test markets.
  • Partners with vendors and RSCS to ensure specifications and timelines are met.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

  • Manages direction, scope of work, and negotiations for creative and production agencies 
  • Works directly with key franchisee stakeholders through leadership of POP subcommittee to gain direction and alignment on national window merchandising and One System Funding
  • Partners with CMO, MLT, and Legal team to gain approval on creative 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education/Certifications – College Degree Required
  • Experience 
    • 5+ years’ experience working in retail merchandising 
    • Experience working with cross functional teams  
    • Strong background working with creative agencies and evaluating creative ideas
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface directly with higher levels of management
    • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and intellectual curiosity
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage several agencies at once
    • Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
