Sr. Analyst, Contracts

LOCATIONS: Louisville

POSITION FUNCTIONS: 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage contract workflow and lifecycle – from contract selection, contract negotiation and execution, through extension, amendment, termination and retention for various business functions. 
  • Independently negotiate with client teams for third party vendors’ services, including technology / software-as-a-service (SAAS) / cloud-services agreements, license agreements, evaluation agreements, other products and services agreements, and non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements.
  • Act as legal point of contact and cultivate relationships with internal client teams.  Ensure ongoing alignment with client teams through 1:1 meetings, regular communication, managing expectations, enforcing the contracting process, and measuring and sharing results with client teams. Advise client teams and coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding contract renewals, amendments, or possible updates.  Effectively document and communicate to relevant stakeholders when and how a contract deviates from the standard terms.  
  • Work with client teams, and in cooperation with other internal stakeholders to manage RFP process, including by drafting RFPs, reviewing responses and managing logistics and timeline related to same.
  • Lead process improvement efforts related to the contracts management function, including through exploration of use of emerging technologies and alternative service providers in areas such as client intake, workflow management, updating of standard forms, stakeholder review and the development of client-facing and internal process guidelines and policies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with concentration in legal or analytical areas.
  • 4+ years’ experience in contract management, negotiation, or similar responsibilities experience
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience with working with clients at all levels of the organization (in-house or law firm.)

Preferred Requirements: 
 

  •  Knowledge of health care contracts, web-based applications and IT infrastructure, and experience working on technology-related agreements
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, but also collaborative with colleagues across the organization, and handle conflicts, prioritize and perform multiple tasks3, solve problems and/or propose solutions
  • Ability to maintain high level of performance and accuracy within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail and results oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills

SALARY RANGE


Salary Range: $87,100 to $102,500 annually + bonus eligibility + equity stock-based compensation (if applicable) + benefits.
