About the Job:

This role supports the planning and execution of audits across key business functions including finance, franchise governance, supply chain, and food safety. In this role you will see first-hand how Yum! leverages its different business models around the world to meet ever-evolving consumer demands, unlock value for our franchisees, and drive sustained and even accelerating growth for all our stakeholders.

This role is based in Louisville, KY with work performed in a hybrid environment. On-site fieldwork, which would likely involve travel, is expected to be ~10% of the workload.

Salary Range: 

$70,400 – $82,900 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning and executing audit projects, including risk assessments, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
  • Collaborate with process and control owners to gather audit evidence and communicate findings.
  • Prepare audit documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, including data analytics and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in internal audit or public accounting
  • Working knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and audit methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • CPA, CIA, or CISA certification (or working toward one).
  • Experience with audit management tools (e.g., AuditBoard).
