Senior UX Designer – Restaurant Mgt Technology

What we need:

Our dynamic Yum.dev team is rapidly growing to build the next generation of restaurant technology. Our restaurant managers use our applications to manage employee schedules, inventory, and the financials of their business. With 50,000 restaurants, there is significant potential for user experience to make a huge impact. We are seeking a UX Designer who can bring fresh ideas from his or her own experience to help make our Restaurant Management system more intuitive and efficient for our managers. Our ideal candidate is a team player, critical thinker, and problem solver.

You will:

• Be responsible for the end to end design process of discovery, testing, and visual design.
• Design digital experiences for our web-based Restaurant Management Platform.
• Understand and represent the voice of the user in design conversations and decisions.
• Work closely with product owners and developer teams in development of features and functionality.
• Develop user scenarios, task flows, and wireframes to communicate and the entire user experience.
• Define interactions, and visual specifications for developer handoff.
• Facilitate/develop user interviews, usability tests, and develop user insights from research.

You have:

• Portfolio of work that showcases your design process and thinking.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Computer Interaction or a related field or have equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 yearsof experience in User Experience, with lead or senior level experience in an Agile envrionment required.
• Proficiency with industry standard wireframing and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, etc).
• Familiarity with establishing, maintaining, and utilizing patterns within a design system.
• Knowledge of industry standards, UX best practices and design heuristics.
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Strong sense of ownership
• Self-disciplined Get Stuff Done approach to work
