About the Job:

We are looking for a member of a Franchise Finance team, which supports the financial health of more than 350 Taco Bell franchisees. You will be part of a team that supports three key pillars of franchise health – collections, financial performance review, and restaurant economics. We are looking for an exceptional problem solver to supervise the collections team by bringing bold ideas to improve the collections processes and to design reliable KPI reports.

This role will also analyze franchise organization’s financial reports, which requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. High level of comfort in financial modeling and reading audited/internal financial statements is expected. And last but not least, you will serve as an analytical partner to the Development team to provide sales insights to new restaurant openings and remodels to drive ROI. With multiple customers across three pillars, this role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in collaborating with multiple customers across the organization.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Supervise collections coordinator who will be responsible for day to day collections duties. Manage high risk franchisees, and collaborate with internal partners (Accounts Receivable, IT) to identify opportunities of process improvement. Work with management and internal partners to identify and promptly report KPI’s
  • Monitor franchisees’ financial performance by compiling and reviewing audited/internal financials statements. Review key financial ratios (Rent Adjusted Leverage, Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio) to determine risks to the franchise system and offer strategic insights
  • Provide insights on new restaurant opening performance based on post mortem learnings, quintile analysis, and market deep dives

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience (eg. Financial Reporting & Analysis, Business Operations, Corporate Finance, Consulting)
  • Strong financial modeling skills and high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills – high level of comfort in collaborating with various internal partners as well as franchisees
  • Experience working with data and simplifying data retrieval
  • Comfort with solving open ended problems
  • Ability to coach a direct report
