Financial Planning Intern

The KFC Global Financial Planning Internship offers a unique opportunity designed to gain functional experience as well as personal and professional development. The Finance Intern will be assigned several projects to gain exposure across multiple areas of Financial Planning including quarterly and long-term forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, competitive analysis, investor relations, etc. The internship will provide opportunities to meet with senior leaders, cross-functional colleagues, and practice business activities such as presenting to the team.

Responsiblilites:

• Ownership over a number of Market Growth Plan (3-year Global strategic financial forecast) processes including; Division-level consolidations, financialreporting, and analysis
• Maintain and improve financial models used to collect and analyze business unit forecasts
• Creation of Financial database to track and help analyze key performance metrics
• Gain a comprehensive view of all KFC financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes
• Effectively communicate, through written and oral means, results, ideas, and recommendations
• Meet with coach and mentor in reoccurring 1:1’s
• Attend work-related functions e.g. Team Meetings, CFO calls, Monthly Finance Business Meeting

Minimum Requirements:

· Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Experience:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with teams, strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills required
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Future focused with a passion for innovation, including desire to learn and adopt and advance Finance technology capabilities
• Experience in QSR or retail organization is a plus
