Business Operations Advisor (non-traditional markets) - Remote

LOCATIONS: Plano

We are seeking an experienced Business and Operations Advisor to join our team, working closely with our non-traditional licensee partners (retail stores, cinemas, airports, etc.) to build a strong Pizza Hut operation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business coaching, operational efficiency, relationship management and driving new unit growth. This role plays a critical part in driving a successful licensee business through meaningful collaboration between the licensee partner and Pizza Hut.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Business Advisor for our licensee partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships
  • Provide guidance and support to new and existing licensees in all aspects of restaurant operations, including food quality, customer service, profitability, and growth
  • Drive strong operational results through Pizza Hut brand standards and operational procedures; implement accountability processes to ensure compliance
  • Support new unit growth through initial and ongoing training to licensee partners and their staff, ensuring best practices are followed and company standards are upheld
  • Conduct Business Reviews with licensees to achieve established targets including assessment of financial, operational and business performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Pizza Hut to ensure alignment and support for non-traditional licensee partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business coaching, operations management, or a related role, preferably within the food service or retail industry
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organizational and with external partners. 
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and operational reports and develop action plans to achieve performance targets
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • 40-50% Travel Required, including quarterly meetings at our Plano headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with non-traditional or multi-unit retail environments
  • Knowledge of the Pizza Hut or QSR industry and familiarity with food safety regulations
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities

Salary Range: $96,700 - $113,800 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
