What You’ll Be Serving Up:

The Manager, Media & Performance, is responsible for setting, executing, and measuring the success of KFC’s media plans and paid content strategy in coordination with agency and cross-functional partners. This role will also be the key day-to-day contact for KFC’s media agency and lead execution for national media execution across all KFC calendar windows and programming.

Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:

  • Partner with Director, Media & Partnerships and media agency to plan and execute national brand and performance campaigns across media channels (TV, OLV, Digital, Audio, Integrations, etc.) and lead in-flight optimization, measurement and reporting
    • Continuously diagnose and action new market opportunities for optimization (partners, formats, etc) across KFC US for media effectiveness and efficiencies
      • Manage paid media, content and influencer partnerships through media agency, content partners and internal cross-functional teams
        • Partner cross-functionally on media analytics, including Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Customer Data Platform (CDP) integration, among others, to translate data (incl. 1P/3P) into actionable opportunities
          • Maintain working knowledge of Marketing Calendar planning cycle, holistic media plans and brand media channels, keeping up with latest trends, best practices and opportunities within the QSR and media landscape
            • Collaborate across internal marketing team and inter-agency team (IAT) to elevate campaign planning as well as ways of working to deliver breakthrough marketing plans
              • Partner across KFC US, Global Media Centre of Excellence and agency stakeholders to leverage global media JBPs, action test-and-learns and scale opportunities
                • Serve as day-to-day lead for media agency relationship, billing, vendor setup and contract discussions

What You Bring to the Table:

Education/Certifications

  • BA or BS (Business, Marketing, Communications, New Media, Public Relations, or related field)

Experience

  • Years of Experience – Minimum of 7 years of overseeing media either client- or agency-side
    • Experience building, activating and optimizing data-driven, full-funnel media plans both on an annual- and campaign-basis
      • Experience working with agencies across disciplines and as part of an inter-agency team (IAT)
        • Demonstrated history of innovation, though leadership and creative solutioning to address big media challenges and opportunities
          • Exceptional ability to build strong working relationships through clear communication, collaboration, listening and a partnership-first mentality
            • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface directly with higher levels of management and external stakeholders, like media partners and franchisees
